• Formal consultation on HSC's proposals for new construction health and safety regulations and guidance began on 31st March 2005 and formally concluded on 29 July 2005.
  
• We are aware that, because of key business and other commitments, some of you were unable to complete and submit your formal responses to us by 29 July, but still wish to have your views considered and taken account of in our analysis of responses to the consultation. For this reason, we have decided to informally extend the consultation until 31 August, which should give you all plenty of time to respond.  This is an absolute cut-off date, and no responses received after this date will be included in the formal analysis exercise..
  
• As well as responding by completing the online questionnaire on this website, you can also respond by email to cdmreview@hse.gsi.gov.uk  .
  
• From 1 September, members of this consultation group will be migrated to a "Community of Interest" to allow you to keep in touch with developments, if you wish to do so.

If you want more than one copy there is a charge for postage and handling of £2.50 for the second copy plus £0.50 for each subsequent copy ordered. (HSE Books staff can advise about methods of payment.) Orders may take up to 10 working days to be processed and delivered and will only be accepted for delivery to addresses in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
