Consultation Summary
| Name | Proposals for new amending Regulations about the Classification, Packaging and Labelling of Chemicals: CHIP 3.2 |
|---|---|
| Description | The Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2002 (CHIP) need to be amended. This is necessary because Great Britain (GB) must implement into domestic legislation the 2nd Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) to the European Community's (EC's) Dangerous Preparations Directive (1999/45/EC). The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will also use this opportunity to correct a few minor editorial errors and to clarify some requirements. These additional editorial amendments do not alter the existing requirements of CHIP2. This Consultative Document explains the proposals and seeks views on the amending regulations proposed by the Health and Safety Executive |
| Dates | This consultation ran from 14 Apr 2008 at 09:00 until 4 Jul 2008 at 23:59. |
