Overview of the Terms and Conditions

HSE Web Communities aim to promote discussion about Workplace Health and Safety issues in Great Britain. The idea is that community members can share good practice - rather than have access to a direct 'question and answer' channel with HSE.

You don't have to be a health and safety professional. Anyone with an interest in risks arising from work activities and raising health and safety standards in the workplace is welcome to join and contribute.

HSE Web Communities are a place for constructive, helpful, intelligent, and polite conversations. People can and will disagree, but it's important that members show respect for each other; be tolerant; and give people the benefit of the doubt.

If you are unable to keep to these guidelines, this might not be the place for you. HSE reserves the right to remove offending material and ban members at any time and without prior notice for libel, defamation, actual threats, copyright abuse, or the posting of someone's personal information (e.g. an address or telephone number) without their permission. We'll explain our actions to the individual concerned - and, where appropriate, let other members know.

If you see anything on a Community, which contravenes HSE Web Communities terms of use, you can let the Group Manager know by email - details are on every Community Homepage.

We will never edit or censor a discussion because we don't happen to agree with it.
