CD286 - Review of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is reviewing the delivery and scope of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) on behalf of Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). 

This discussion document seeks views on:

  • the questions within the document
  • the three options under consideration for the future of AALA
  • the initial assessment of the costs and benefits of the proposed changes as set out in the impact assessment

The feedback will inform the HSE Board’s decision on the future of AALA.
